A recent study reveals that in 2022, only 0.53% of cryptocurrency investors worldwide paid taxes on their digital assets.

This low rate of tax compliance varies by continent, with North America having a 1.62% compliance rate, while Asia sits at 0.20%. The United States, however, was found to have the most crypto taxpayers in comparison to other countries.
