Dad finds out his anonymous kidney donor is his daughter

Delayne Ivanowski, a 25-year-old nurse from Kirkwood, Missouri, has donated her kidney to her dad, John Ivanowski, despite his opposition.

John, who had been diagnosed with IgA nephropathy, was on dialysis for four to five hours, four days a week, which was affecting his quality of life. Delayne went through the months-long process of getting approved to be her dad's kidney donor in secret, even while living at home with him and her mom, including undergoing blood work and countless medical tests, all without her dad knowing.
